In Loving Memory of Henry Amos On February 27, 1950, Henry “Brother “Amos, was born in Stacey, AR to Robbie Amos and the late Butler Amos Jr. Henry gained his wings on March 23, 2021. Henry acknowledge Christ at a young age and was a member of New Creation C.O.G.I.C. In his earlier career for 15 years he drove semi-trucks for Signal Delivery/ Sears out of Chicago, IL until 1986. In 1983 he co-founded Amos & Amos with his brother Bruce Amos. He later retired from Metro Transit in Minneapolis as a city bus driver for 20 plus years. Henry was a very outgoing and outspoken person. He was a man of his word and stood his ground for what he believed in. If you ever had a debate with Henry, you automatically knew you were not going to win. He was amazing cook and a bar-b-que expert. He also loved to ride his motorcycle, take his boat out on the lake and take many trips up down the highway. Henry leaves to cherish his memories to his beloved mother Robbie Amos (Turrell, AR.), his son, LaVar Johnson (Kenya) (Chicago, IL); Kimberly (Jesse) Davis (Chicago, IL), LaTisha Johnson (Chicago, IL), Synthia El (Atlanta, GA), and Latashia Amos (Minneapolis, MN). Stepsons: Thomas McBride (Amarillo, TX), Brandon Harness (Minneapolis, MN), Randy Chrisman (Minneapolis, MN) and Isaiah Harness (Bedford, TX). Six wonderful grandsons and three adorable granddaughters. Brother: Bruce Amos (Minneapolis, MN),Seven Sisters: Ruby Stein Amos-Wiley (Minneapolis, MN), Robbie Amos (West Memphis, AR.), Flora Westbrook (Minneapolis, MN), Joyce (Ellis) Jackson (Barnum, MN), Ann Amos (Minneapolis, MN), Beverly Amos-White (Memphis, TN), and Patricia Amos (Minneapolis, MN). Henry will be greatly missed by a host of nieces, great nieces, nephews, great nephews, cousins, friends and acquaintances as well as special family and friend
